"I've always found the Digital Identity Forum to be special: the content is refreshing, the discussions open and forthright, the speakers and attendees genuine
experts. It should be a date in the diary of senior management." John Bullard, Identrus
This year's theme "Bridging the Real and Virtual
Worlds" addressed the fact that both private and public sector
organisations must span real and virtual worlds in their
relationships with customers, suppliers and partners. Current
identity, authentication and credential management approaches are
fragmented, channel-specific and seem of limited use. It's time for
new ideas and a better strategic context for decisions.
Presentations were given by
leading experts from a variety of leading organisations including
the UK Home Office, PITO, APACS and the Office of the e-Envoy.

The Digital Identity Forum is a not-for-profit event and any surplus generated will go to
local charities. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and delegates, in recent years we have been able
to support:
- The Pond Meadow school for children with severe disabilities, Guildford.
- The International Myeloma Foundation, Edinburgh.
- The Fountain Centre for Palliative Cancer Care, Guildford.
- The Surrey Voluntary Association for the Blind.
