For the 6th year running, Consult Hyperion brought together leading thinkers from both the public and private sectors to discuss a wide range of issues surrounding the topic of Digital Identity in their popular forum format.

This year's theme was: "It's not just about ID cards!"

Digital identity is not just about smart cards and cryptography. It's about the boundary between the real and virtual worlds, between the world of people and things and the world of encryption and databases. This year's Forum looked at this boundary more closely, to try and understand how choices being made now will open up or close down future directions, sharing experiences from disparate sectors ranging from electronic passports to online games and from financial services to telecommunications.

Our forum has an excellent reputation for providing genuinely informed debate about the subject of Digital Identity. Excellent audience participation always results in some very lively discussions and debates. As usual we limited the number of places to 100 places in order to ensure an interactive environment.

The event is an opportunity to network with people from a variety of sectors working in this field, and to gain exposure to different perspectives and opinions on the theme of Digital Identity.

Agenda

The programme for the Forum was constructed around 4 key themes:

The future of digital identity
Digital identity technologies
Digital identity in business and government
What does digital identity mean for society

Speakers and panellists at the forum represented a variety of organisations.

The full schedule for the event is available online now. Please download it here.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support.

The Digital Identity Forum is a not-for-profit event. Any surplus funds generated are donated to local charities. Information on this can be found on the Consult Hyperion web site after the event.
