For the 5th year running, Consult Hyperion brought together leading thinkers from both the public and private sectors to discuss a wide range of issues surrounding the topic of Digital Identity.

This year's theme was: "Moving Digital ID to Population Scale"

The world of digital identity is in transition from the era of trials, pilots and closed systems to the era of local and national roll-out, interoperability and open systems. This year's forum considered what has been learned so far and examined how the enabling technologies, such as smart cards, biometrics, digital certificates and pseudonyms, will work in large-scale deployment.

Our forum has an excellent reputation for providing genuinely informed debate about the subject of Digital Identity, and this year’s event was no exception. Excellent audience participation resulted in some very lively discussions and debates. As usual we limited the number of places to 100 places in order to ensure an interactive environment.

The event was an excellent opportunity to network with people from a variety of sectors working in this field, and to gain exposure to different perspectives and opinions on the theme of Digital Identity.

Agenda

The programme for the Forum was constructed around 4 key themes:

National & International Identity
Federated Identity
Local and Community Identity
Personal Authentication

Speakers at the forum represented a variety of organisations, including Gemplus, Microsoft, Identrus, Manchester City Football Club and Vodafone.

The full schedule for the event is available online now. Please download it here.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support.

The Digital Identity Forum is a not-for-profit event. Any surplus funds generated are donated to local charities. Information on this can be found on the Consult Hyperion web site after the event.
